Jack Flinchum, Ph.D.
Consultant
Jack is an Executive Leadership and Development Consultant with Executive Leadership Partners (ELP). He consults with senior leaders spanning roles, functions, geographic locations, headcounts, and industries to provide individual, team, and organizational services that enable leaders, teams, and organizations to perform at their best. Through this work, Jack has led and supported various change efforts such as onboarding new executives, developing effective teams, and revising organization-wide talent and succession planning initiatives.
Jack’s strengths include the individual assessment and development of senior leaders, implementation of talent management and data analytics best practices, and creation and implementation of organizational change initiatives. He has consulted with leading Fortune 500 companies spanning various industries including retail and consumer products, technology, manufacturing, sports and entertainment, utilities, financial services, and telecommunications.
Before joining ELP, Jack worked internally for several organizations of varying sizes and industries (e.g., Charter/Spectrum, Ingersoll Rand/Trane Technologies, Duke Energy, TIAA). In those roles, he served in various talent-related functions and areas of expertise (e.g., assessment & retention, data analytics, talent planning, learning and development, organizational effectiveness, worker health, wellbeing, and engagement). He also worked for several years as an external consultant serving non-profit organizations.
Jack has a doctorate in Organizational Science and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with minors in Sociology and Statistics from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. Jack is certified by DiSC and Hogan Assessments and is also an active member in the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology (SIOP).
