Craig is a partner at Executive Leadership Partners and a founding member of the firm. He provides advisory services on talent, coaches executives and teams, helps select leaders for key roles, and consults with business and human resource leaders on large-scale talent management initiatives.
Craig’s core strengths include aligning organizational and human capital strategies, assessing and coaching senior executives, and driving overall team effectiveness. Coaching engagements often address: C-suite readiness; executive team development; assessing and strengthening leadership disciplines; strategy execution; executive presence; change management and onboarding leaders to new senior roles. He consults with mid-size and Fortune 500 companies and has worked across numerous industries including: banking and financial services; healthcare and healthcare IT; technology services; industrial manufacturing and distribution; public accounting; energy; telecom; retail; pharma and a variety of private equity groups, investment banks and M&A firms.
Prior to co-founding ELP, Craig owned a boutique human capital consultancy for 18 years. He is a licensed psychologist in North Carolina and holds a Doctorate in psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and a B.A. from Boston College. Craig is a Registered Corporate Coach through the Worldwide Association of Business Coaches and is Hogan leadership assessment certified. He held professorships at Loyola and Argosy Universities in Chicago, as well as coaching faculty positions at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management, Capella University and the Global Institute for Leadership Development (GILD). He has presented numerous times at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business regarding talent assessment for private equity groups.
Craig sits on the emeritus board at the Partnership to Educate and Advance Kids, a non-profit that provides mentorship and financial support for inner-city adolescents in Chicago. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina with his wife and three daughters and enjoys world travel and mountain trekking.
