Andrew Odze, Psy.D.

Managing Partner


Andrew is the managing partner of eXecutive leadership partners (ELP) and a founding member of the firm. He consults with boards, CEOs and senior executives about strategic, operational and cultural matters central to the overall performance of their organizations. He has a long history of provoking significant behavioral changes in senior leaders, executive teams and entire organizations. He has also led many noteworthy, widespread change efforts for global companies focused on leadership, team effectiveness and organizational change. Andrew’s strengths include: advising boards and CEO’s on leadership and organization development; planning for CEO succession and accelerating candidate readiness; accelerating teams to their highest levels of performance; and architecting strategic, organizational and cultural changes that ensure the execution of the business strategy. He has consulted with leading Fortune 500 corporations in a wide range of industries, including: automotive; retail and consumer products; technology; medical devices; manufacturing; utilities; financial services; telecommunications: mass media and professional services. As a consultant and, in previous roles as a senior leader in two Fortune 50 corporations, Andrew led numerous, diverse functions and advised leaders across the globe. Before consulting, Andrew led the enterprise-wide talent management functions, first at Motorola, and then at Bank of America, in support of the CEO’s agenda. During the financial crisis, he led the leadership assessment and selection process for the highly visible acquisitions of Countrywide Financial and Merrill Lynch. He was also the senior HR Executive leading the E-Commerce and Mobile Distribution Channels at Bank of America. Throughout his 17 years of internal experience, he supported a variety of businesses and functions including capital markets, technology, sales and marketing and engineering. Prior to founding ELP, he began his external consulting career at a mid-size firm where he acquired and managed a large portfolio of marquee clients while leading the firm’s expansion of service offerings that resulted in an unprecedented period of growth for the firm. Given the variety of his experience, he is uniquely qualified in the management consulting industry to understand and shape the behavior of individual leaders, to maximize the effectiveness of leadership teams and to guide organizations in enacting transformational change. Andrew has a Master’s degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University, and both a Master’s and doctoral degree in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. He is also a provisionally licensed psychologist in the state of North Carolina. He lives in Charlotte, NC with his wife, two sons and their dog.
