With 16 years of global corporate experience, she combines big-picture thinking, detail-orientation, and client focus to deliver best-in-class solutions to business problems. Laura has a proven track record as a strategic collaborator and trusted partner to her clients at all levels, including Fortune 50 C-suite leaders.
Laura’s versatility and learning agility is exemplified through her wide-ranging expertise in talent assessment and development, performance management, leadership transitions, succession planning, team effectiveness, organizational design, employee engagement and change management. Laura prides herself on investing in relationships and taking time to understand the cultural nuances of an organization to ensure pragmatic actions and sustainable outcomes. She is passionate about having a positive and meaningful impact in every client engagement.
Prior to joining ELP, Laura spent the bulk of her career at Bank of America where she rose quickly to executive-level roles leading teams of consultants and serving on the leadership team of the Global Talent function. In her last position, Laura was responsible for leadership and organizational development for Operations globally and served as a direct client advisor to the Chief Operations Officer. During her tenure at the bank, Laura led enterprise-wide talent planning and assisted in the facilitation of executive performance management and both executive onboarding and executive exit interviews, with report-outs to the CEO, board of directors and regulators. Her client-facing experience spanned several business and functional areas, including technology, risk, compliance and human resources. Prior to joining Bank of America, Laura spent two years at BCD Meetings and Incentives as a registration manager for corporate meetings and events across the globe.
Laura has a Master’s degree in Organizational Communication from Queens University of Charlotte and a Bachelor’s degree in Sport and Event Management from Elon University where she was an Honors Fellow.
